Now that Helldivers 2 has been out for almost two weeks, the weaponry has been figured out for the most part. You may be wondering what weapons are the best, so below, I have compiled a list of what I and many others have figured are the best weapons in the game.
Breaker Shotgun
This is far and above one of the most powerful primary weapons in the game.
Has a very quick rate of fire, good spread, great accuracy, quick to reload, and has a very long range for a shotgun.
AR-23P Liberator Penetrator
This variation of the standard assault rifle comes with medium armour penetration capabilities making it extremely useful at higher difficulties
Jar-5 Dominator
This shotgun has the highest damage output in the game for a primary weapon, and the explosive damage allows it to make quick work of enemies. However, it does have a slow rate of fire and a long reload time.
P-19 Redeemer
The best secondary in the game. This machine pistol is capable of dealing insane damage in a short amount of time as it has an insanely high rate of fire. Perfect for when enemies get a little too close.
AR-23 Liberator
The standard assault rifle is capable of almost any situation Helldivers 2 can throw at you. The only downside of it is that it is not particularly amazing at anything, just good at everything.
SMG-37 Defender
A powerful SMG that handles longer ranges and is a surprisingly powerful weapon. Think of it as a Liberator that shoots slower but has more damage. Plus, it is a one-handed weapon, so for missions that require you to carry a hard drive, you can still use it.
R-63 Diligence or the Diligence-CS
This marksman rifle is very good for battling the Automatons as it can almost two-shot every single one of the medium armoured bots. However, it is a single-shot rifle, so it can be dangerous if you are against a ton of enemies.
The CS version lowers the ammo capacity but gives it better range and higher damage.
